Since 2018, JOYA has been implementing sustainable development projects across Afghanistan, focusing on education, health, livelihoods, and community empowerment. Each project represents our commitment to creating lasting change.
Women's Livelihood and Skills Empowerment Project (WLSEP)
Empowering 900 women through vocational training in sewing, tailoring, handicrafts, beauty services, and carpet weaving in Badakhshan and Takhar provinces.
Capacity Building Training for Youth
Advanced professional training for 450 youth (225 girls, 225 boys) in finance, HR, project management, engineering, and IT skills development.
Ultra-Poor Graduation and Microfinance Support (UGMS)
Supporting 500 ultra-poor women through backyard poultry farming and cash assistance for sustainable livelihood development in Balkh and Parwan provinces.
Maternal and Child Health Outreach Initiative (MCHOI)
Comprehensive maternal healthcare services including antenatal care, safe delivery promotion, and family planning for 3,200 women across three provinces.
TVET Project for Youth
Technical and vocational training for 320 youth (120 girls, 200 boys) in tailoring, embroidery, IT/computer skills, and mobile phone repair in Kabul and Parwan.
